> Crescent Moon

Pedaling along the old paths.
Something’s there and something’s not.
Velvet-like, the crescent moon.
The Velvet Underground, in the groves...
By the church wall, an elderly woman.
With leftover vegetables.
People murmuring prayers.
Does she know what it all means?

People adore you, so do people hurt.
Finding my way to escape.
The atomics that made you.
What’s on their minds, or are they mindless?
I wish I could be one of them.

I knew it was just a dream,
But the sweetest dream I ever had.

April 22
> I listen to the wheels

No music tonight,
I listen to the wheels,
Rolling on the wet road,
The rain has just stopped.

On June,
The day is gloomy,
The sky is pale,
Rain still pours now and then.

I wept this morning
Over the story of a wise man
From the book that I read
And from that I could learn
